A lot of people are looking for reviews on US forwarder. I have been researching for very long before deciding to use HopShopGo. I decided to write my review with this forwarding agent in order to let others know that unexpected things can happen. I have been using Hop Shop Go for 8th times and I was very satisfied with their service, package arrival at their warehouse was updated promptly (usually on the same day). It will take around 2-3 days for the shipment to be shipped and it will be updated in their website with the DHL tracking number.
Recently, they lost my package at their warehouse!
On 24 May 2012, I created a shipment and requested HSG to ship my package to Malaysia after keeping it for more than 20 days in their US warehouse. I paid USD50.48 just for the shipping cost and my package value only USD110.90, so it is almost 50% but I am ok since I know they charged according to the volumetric weight instead of the actual weight. After 1 week, I still did not see any update and it still show “In progress”. I emailed many times but rarely receive reply. The 1st reply was informing that they need 1-2 days for them to check but after 2 days no further reply. I started to send daily email to them and as expected no reply. Then, every evening I will use their live chat, but they still give me the same unacceptable answer “waiting for logistic update”, ‘waiting for US team’. To me as a customer, I don’t care whether it is US team or SG team and what I see is ONE single entity that is Hop Shop Go.
On 7 June, HopShopGo finally replied saying that their failed to locate my package and asked me to fill up the claim form. After filling up the claim document and providing the invoice, HSG will refund the shipping cost in 3-5 business day but I still need to wait for 7-9 business days them to compensate the cost of my lost package. It is already proven that is their fault for losing it and yet I have to wait for so long. I am ok if after 9 days I guarantee that I can get my money back but just worry that they will give me another excuse that they can’t process it.
I bought those items during 50% off even now they will compensate the exact invoice amount I still cant get the same items with the same price. Also, I need go through so much troubles to followup with them.
Looking for better, cheaper and reliable forwarding agent.

Samething happened to me. They lost my $550 item inside their warehouse itself even before shipping. Item was with them for less than 24hours and they have no clue of what happened.
DO NOT USE HSG or comGateway.
